Some Zex™ customers get right to the point

Just a short note to thanks you for your great new wet nitrous kit. I installed it in about two hours and it's amazing performance enabled me to run a blistering 12.07 at 113.94 mph - the fastest 1/4 mile so far in a US spec EVO VIII.
The kit is a amazing - the stock supplied jets worked out with a perfect A/F ratio - unchanged from my pre- nitrous tune - and no change in EGT's - plugs looked great.
The 60 shot jets gave me a 113 ft lb increase in trq to 412 ft lbs at the wheels and 404 hp.

"I just bought my zex kit from a shop called Revolution Motorsports in Altoona, Wi. I've heard many good things about the kit but have never experienced it. I went with the 65 shot and smoked my friends 99 Eclipse GS-t with many mods. AWESOME! He beat me w/o Zex by 5 car lengths then with the 65 shot I beat him by 2 car lengths. He was pissed. HAHA!! I'm loving my 90 Civic Hatchback SI with sohc v-tec + ZEX more and more, and whats really cool is n2o is only $4/lbs here in the frozen tundra. Now I can finally beat those pesky v-8's that surround me here in the dairy land of Wisconsin. I am the only import besides my friends Eclipse in like a 40 mile radius. A few more "ZEXey" parts like the blow down kit(so I can run it) and a bottle heater and... I could go on and on. Only 1 problem I had, I didn't know what TPS wire to hook it too. HA! figured it out quick though. I knocked easily 2 seconds off my e.t. with the 65shot.

"I did what you told me to do with the fuel tuning and the nitrous flow tuning for my GS-R and let me tell you, first I beat one of my best friends and his supercharged S2000 by at least 3mph at the track. Then I beat a 2000 Type R that was also running a Zex system and I beat a 2000 Mustang GT that was running a Zex system. I basically smoked all three with no problem. I'm still fine tuning the motor. So far the best the car went was a 13.46 seconds at 106 mph on "street tires" with veeerrry minimal traction. I spun in every gear through 4th and on a stock clutch and 31,000 miles on the clutch.
On slicks the car is estimated for a 12.80 after finely tuned. Problem is, can't afford the slicks(bummer). For now though, everyone around my area knows about my car and they also know that I have the ZEX kit. Three of my friends just bought the ZEX kit because of what they saw it did for my car. That makes me the happiest driver/ mechanic in the world. They are having me install and tune them in their cars.
Thank you again for your help. I'm now on my way to the 12's. If there are any other tricks for more horsepower that you know, please let me know.
I now have the fastest and most well known GS-R in my area.

"I'm currently running the Zex kit on my 2k Integra Type R. Before, I was running intake and header and was pretty fast at the track on drag radials, 14.24 at 96 mph. After I installed the kit, OH MY GOD!!!!! My first pass was a 13.43 at 100 mph and then I came back and ran again and hit a 12.95 at 107 mph and backed it up with a 12.97 at 106.
All I can say is that the kit is awesome and worth every penny. The tech guys were great, they recommended me buying a fuel pump for my car since it was the weak point (only weak point in a R). I installed it and it and the ZEX kit run flawlessly. Thanks to all who have helped and watch out."

THE CIVIC SHOP CAR: 1993 Honda Civic DX hatch back
When developing components for “real world” street applications, our 1993 Civic hatch back does the job. This car is very similar to many of our customer's cars. With basic ZEX™ components, we have had the car as fast as a 13.31 e.t. at 100 mph with it's D16Z6 engine. While the car is not much show, it's all go! This unsuspecting “stock” looking Civic eats Mustangs and Camaros for lunch on a regular basis. Future plans for our shop car are a B18C GSR engine swap. This will allow us the opportunity to continue our camshaft development and nitrous testing for this very popular engine. No doubt, the car will be solidly in the 12's with this new combination.

FAQ:
Will the ZEX N2O kit work on my car?
Our nitrous kit is very universal by design. It works on most late model, direct port fuel injection kits.
ZEX Nitrous Compatibility Checklist
Engine must have a vacuum ported fuel pressure regulator
Throttle position sensor voltage must pass the following test:
Locate the T.P.S. (usually directly across from throttle linkage)
Turn ignition to on position (do not start engine)
Using a digital voltmeter, check each wire for a low voltage reading of approximately 1 volt.
Only one wire should have this low voltage with the throttle closed
While on that same wire, open the throttle completely and check the voltage reading
If your voltage reads 4.2 volts or higher, you are ready to install your ZEX nitrous kit
How much time can I expect installation to take?
A person familiar with common hand tools should be able to complete the installation in three to four hours. If you can get out of bed by 8, it should be in before lunchtime.
Will your kit work on my car if it does not have a vacuum operated fuel pressure regulator?

How long will one bottle of nitrous last?
This totally depends on which jetting is used. The 55hp shot will last around 3 minutes of continuous use. The 125hp shot will last just under 1.5 minutes of continuous use. Generally, since each race lasts less than fifteen seconds, many races can be run from a single bottle.

Will the ZEX N2O kit work on my car?
Our nitrous kit is very universal by design. It works on most late model, direct port fuel injection kits.
ZEX Nitrous Compatibility Checklist
Engine must have a vacuum ported fuel pressure regulator
Throttle position sensor voltage must pass the following test:
Locate the T.P.S. (usually directly across from throttle linkage)
Turn ignition to on position (do not start engine)
Using a digital voltmeter, check each wire for a low voltage reading of approximately 1 volt.
Only one wire should have this low voltage with the throttle closed
While on that same wire, open the throttle completely and check the voltage reading
If your voltage reads 4.2 volts or higher, you are ready to install your ZEX nitrous kit
How much time can I expect installation to take?
A person familiar with common hand tools should be able to complete the installation in three to four hours. If you can get out of bed by 8, it should be in before lunchtime.

Et Pete viittis mitään pitempiä juttuja laittaa tänne, olis kyllä aikaa lukea! Muutenkin aika typerää hehkuttaa laittomia vehkeitä ja sanoa että näitä ei sitten saa käyttää kadulla. Amis, lippis ja lökäpöksypojat kyllä ostaa innolla ja tappaa jonkun sivullisen ohikulkijan tollasilla virityksillä. Taitaa olla sullakin nuppi pehmennyt helteellä!!

joissain muissa maissa niitä saa käyttää kadullakin mutta niissä maissa saa esim myös nostaa yli 20% turboauton tehoa jne ja vaihtaa vapaammin isompia (yli 25% iskutilavuutta) moottoreita jne mitkä kaikki ovat Suomessa tieliikenteessä kiellettyjä asoita

Sen sijaan kilvanajossa saa niitä käyttää jos luokan ja/tai kilpailun säännöt sen sallivat
Ulkomaillakin niiden pääasiallinen käyttöympäristö on kiihdytyskilpailuissa
(Import ja V-8 kiihdytysautot)
kuten varmaan ZEX:in testiautoista huomaat, niitä on arkerasti testattu radalla kelloja vastaan
Sellaista mikä olisi laitonta Suomessa ei saisi käyttää missään (esim huumeita)

Tarkoitat varmaan valitettavasti suomessa (lakiasetukset pyllystä), eikä mitään vastuutonta Peten touhussa ole. Kaasuista on varoiteltu ihan riittävästi, laittomuus katukäytössä ilmoitettu, eikä varmaankaan lippispäät ihan heti näitä osta, kun karvanoppia ja putkenpäitäkin on tarjolla, ja niitä ne osaavat itsekin asentaa....
