Opel Club Finland (OCF)

I've been thinking that it would be useful for us English/Non-Finnish Users to have a thread dedicated to learning some more Finnish words/phrases. I've been wanting to learn Finnish for years, but its often too easy to just speak English, when I come there on holidays, etc. because most Finns speak VERY GOOD English!! There are probably other/better ways of learning than in this Forum - but this could be a fun way to start...

I know quite a few basic Finnish words/phrases already, but maybe like car-related phrases would be good in here and others that you think might be useful

Please include translations (Finnish first; then English) and try to keep it fairly simple, so its easier for us to learn.

missä on lähin huoltoasema? = where is the nearest service station? (for a gas)

missä on lähin korjaamo? = where is nearest repair shop? (for a bigger problems)

Jakolaatikko on rikki = Transfer case is broken

Tiivisteet vuotaa = Gaskets leaks

if NISMO means Nissan Motorsports, then HOMO must mean Honda Motorsports.
and a translation: jos NISMO tarkoittaa Nissan Motorsportsia, niin HOMOn täytyy tarkoittaa Honda Motorsportsia.
