Can somebody tell me if this type of car will be good for me in terms of low volume usage of fuel?
is it a strong car?

It is a custom turbo project (with megasquirt 2), so I'd guess that it might not be optimized for fuel efficiency currently.
I would not purchase that If I didnt know much about engine tuning etc.

EDIT: On the other hand, if it is tuned properly, I think that it shouldnt take huge amounts of fuel given that you wont drive it pedal to the metal all the time...

I'd say that you'd be better of with 2.0 litre 8 valve engine without turbo . Engine lasts easily 600 000 km , but the chassis will rust.
Opel Vectra A is good to drive and cheap to service.
