Olisi tilauksessa Omegan dieselin vikakoodilista . Bensiiniversioista tietoa löytyy kiitettävästi. En ole onnistunut löytämään tältä sivustolta, enkä oikein muualtakaan. Saa :ia tuhmuudesta, jos siltä tuntuu mutta lista olisi tarpeen.
Tällä hetkellä on tarvetta tietää mitä tarkoittavat:
34: Suihkutuksen ajoituksen säätö - yli rajan
64: Polttoaineen määräsäätimen asentotunnistin - väärä signaali
74: Imuilman lämpötilan tunnistin (IAT) - jännite korkea
81: Suutinneulan nousutunnistin - piirin virhetoiminto
92: Vakionopeussäädin - signaali korkea (taso?)(ei vakionopeudensäädin viikseä eli ok)
Näistä voisi olla pysyvät listat tuolla 'Vinkit' osiossa! Eli nyt tiedämme. Onko tietoa: Johtuvatko 34, 74 ja 81 pumpun määränsäätimen väärästä säädöstä? Tarina on se, että Omegasta saatiin korjaamolla aikaan entinen kone asentamalla ketju väärin. Nyt on asennettu paikolleen BMW:n mylly ja hieman pelottaa tuo vikakoodilista joka kaivettiin haluttoman menon johdosta.

Listan mukaiset virheselitykset johtavat vikoihin, joita on mahdotonta olla tuossa autossa. Esim. sytytyspuolat puuttuvat perusteellisesti diesel moottorista, vaikken ymmärrä miksi. Nehän voisivat olla hyväksikin!

Reading the Codes.
* Switch off the ignition.
* Use a jump wire to bridge data link connector terminals 4 and 15.
* Turn on the ignition.
* The MIL lamp will start a sequence of flashing.
* All fault codes have two digits. There will be two series of flashes. The first series indicates tens, and the second series indicates units. A 'half second' pause separate the tens from the units, a 'one second' pause separates each fault code.
* Read and write down the codes.
* Turn off the ignition and remove the jumper wire.
A full sequence of codes always starts with >one flash, short pause, two flashes, long pause<, so that's how you get your eye in.
If Cruise Control isn't fitted to your car you will also always get a 92 code. This false code is a 'feature' not a fault!!
Either have someone to write them down as you shout them out, or learn to write without looking at the paper, because you can't take your eye off the light. If you do you loose your place. The sequence appears to repeat 'forever', so if you do loose your place, just wait for the whole sequence to start again.
You cannot clear the codes using this method, that takes either Rovacom, Autologic, Testbook, or BMW kit I'm not familiar with. Possibly, repeat POSSIBLY, an OBDII Code Reader can do it.
If you don't know the numbering of the data socket, there are two rows of 8 terminals. The spacing is the same for each row, but the casing is wider across the top row than the bottom row. From left to right, the top row is 1 to 8, the bottom row 9 to 16. Note that 16 has positive 12 volts on it, and 15 has full earth (negative 12 volts). If you have a meter, use that to confirm you have identified 15 & 16, but try not to blow the fuse.

44 Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor , TC boost pressure - incorrect signal
