Re: Opel Astra GSi X30XE [help me please]
haha yeah it's still alive and kicking. But due to personal circumstances the project is more or less on hold
Hopefully i can continue the work on the Astra later this year...
I'll update the topic in the weekend and tell you guys what still happened in the meen time, because i just couldn't just do absolutely nothing
Seems there's a max on picture size so i'll need some time to resize some stuff (no time now)

Re: Opel Astra GSi X30XE
Ok, as promised, some updates.
Since yesterday, the car is again in the shop. The gearbox wasn't doing, what it should be doing (shifting gears normally). But it was all in the contract, so no extra costs except some time without the Astra.
Well, to the point:
Installed Bonrath Power Lifts. These things are incredibly strong

New audio. Sold the old sub + amp. Wanted to go back to original

Irmscher rear lights

Conversion to fitt original Calibra Turbo rims (don't mention the height, i know, the car is high. Using Vectra A V6 springs now till i have new ones that lower the car a couple of cm again)

Installed new Sachs sports clutch that can go upto 500 hp, the old original one couldn't handle the power, it kept slipping and when it came out (after 1 year of usage) it turned completely blue

Also installed a new exhaust system (Group A, 63,5 mm) and new driveshafts from a Calibra, because these things also couldn't handle the power
Old stuff:

And a nice action pic

I just had a "moment". Astra F with 4WD and X30XE twin turbo. That would really rule pretty much anything besides +300k€ ferraris etc on the street.

Well, to be completely honest, i have been talking about this with the guy who build all this stuff. You can get "easily" 600+ bhp, and with a descent 4WD system, we think you can smoke, or at least keep ut with the 300k ferrari's

I think he means front grill. Its called "etu maski" in finnish.pascal1109 kirjoitti:sorry, but i don't quite understand what you mean with the older mask???_Jape_ kirjoitti:looks good.. original look will surprise everyone on motorwayrace race.. change that older mask? i think that newer is not cool.

Re: Opel Astra GSi X30XE
@ _Jape_: I will never change the original look of the car. It's beautiful the way it is
That's also the reason i fitted Calibra Turbo rims, the original Astra GSi 16v rims didn't fit on my brakes
@ exclusive: I think you misread something. I never said my friend had this Astra, but only we were talking about it. But...he is working on his own Astra, installing a X30XE with 2 turbo's and RWD. Unfortunately this project is on hold because of time problems
