Generator Lamp "L" Control Circuit Malfunction
Tuollaisen selityksen löysin C-Vectran vikakoodeista.
Ymmärtääkseni liittyy latausvalon virtapiiriin. Kannattaa katsoa palaako latauksen merkkivalo, kun käännät virrat päälle ja sammuuko se sitten samantein, kun moottori käynnistyy. Tai sitten siinä laturin herätevirtapiirissä ei ole kokoaikaan oikea jännite.

Complaint: Battery charge indicator lamp flashes. Failure code P0621(04) set.
Cause: ECU Software weakness.
Production: Improved Software will be introduced with new generation of ECUs as of MY 05.

Remedy:
In case of customer complaint reprogram the ECU with TIS 2000 as of CD 52
(SW version 1536 or higher). It is not necessary to exchange any parts.

What does this mean?
OBD Code P0621refers to
The Engine Control Module (ECM) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses the generator turn on signal circuit to control the load of the generator on the engine. A high side driver in the ECM/PCM applies a voltage to the voltage regulator. This signals the voltage regulator to turn the field circuit ON and OFF. The ECM/PCM monitors the state of the generator turn on signal circuit. The ECM/PCM should detect low voltage on generator turn on signal circuit when the ignition is ON and the engine is OFF, or when the charging system malfunctions. With the engine running, the ECM/PCM should detect high voltage on the generator turn on signal circuit. The ECM/PCM performs Ignition ON and RUN tests to determine the status of the generator turn on signal circuit.
